This document discusses SPECIFIC, a research organization that works with industry partners to commercialize new energy technologies and integrate them into buildings. SPECIFIC has 150+ staff, state-of-the-art laboratories, and over 50 industry and research partners. Its goal is to transform buildings into "power stations" that can generate, store, and release energy on-site. SPECIFIC offers applied research and development, scale-up support, building demonstrations, and business development services to help partners commercialize opportunities like building-integrated PV, thermal storage, and batteries. It is looking for both strategic long-term partners and project-based collaborations to develop its innovation pipeline and achieve goals like 20p/watt
