This document summarizes a project to reduce paper consumption for warm-up activities in Spanish classes at Annette Island School District. Data was collected over two weeks on the amount of paper used for warm-ups in two Spanish classes. On average, each student in those classes used 3.1875 sheets of paper per week. With 123 secondary students in the district taking an average of 7 classes per day, it was estimated that the entire student body uses around 1,568 sheets of paper for warm-ups each week. By reusing previously used paper for warm-ups across the district, it is estimated that around 59,584 sheets could be saved in a year.
