Aashman Foundation Summer Internship .docxAmanHamza4
The internship opportunity I had with “Aasmaan Foundation” was a great chance for learning and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself a very lucky individual as I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this internship period.
I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and special thanks to “Munish Pundir” “Director “who despite being extraordinarily busy with “her/his” duties, took time out to hear, guide, and keep me on the correct path and allowing me to carry out my internship at their esteemed organization.
I further want to thank Prof. Shikha Gera, who helped me to better understand concepts of professionalism and become a better person and employee in my life.
I would also like to thank my parents and friends who helped me a lot during my life and this internship period. I perceive this opportunity as a big milestone in my career development. I will strive to use gained skills and knowledge in the best possible way, and I will continue to work on their improvement, to attain desired career objectives. Hope to continue cooperation with all of you in the future.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
1. Endorsement Letter
To whom it may concern,
In the position of current President AIESEC Iasi and member of the executive board team of the
organization I sincerely recommend Adriana Mahu for the position of Vice President Sales in the national
leading team of AIESEC in Romania for the term 2012-2013.
Adriana joined AIESEC Iasi in 2009 and I had the great opportunity to work with her from the very
beginning when she was a new member. Our collaboration has started when I was elected to be her buddy
during the induction period. During this time, I was really impressed by her dedication and emotionally
involvement to the things that she was doing. Even then, she had a great desire of finding out new things
about the organization and moreover, of proving that everything can be done at a higher level.
In order to demonstrate this, Adriana applied on the position of Vice President External Relations
on the TTX Conference in 2010 and after that she assumed the position of leading a new project in
AIESEC Iasi designed by her named Incorporate Experience. During these experiences she developed
herself both personal and professional, has managed to prove what a real entrepreneurial perspective
means in AIESEC and she has gained a deep sense of organizational understanding when she decided to
run for the position of Vice President External Relations for the EB Team 2011-2012.
From a personal point of view, I have always admired at Adriana her responsibility, ambition and
personal drive. She differs from the general pattern due to her reputation of pursuing things to the bitter end
at a high quality because of her effectiveness combined with consistency. Her sincerity and integrity were the
attitudes that always have made the difference within the team that we have worked together. In this way, I
had a huge honor to have Adriana as a colleague.
By being the Vice President External Relations she was always able to set strong leads and
standards in everything she has done. Her management style produced the expected results because she
succeeded to instill a sense of urgency into people which was combined with her social abilities of inspiring
people around her and be aware of their feelings and needs.
As part of the EB Team Adriana is generally seen as a person who is perfectionist, professionally
dedicated, caring, challenging and encouraging of others. She has an eye for detail, behavior which is
very useful within a team and from which everyone can take advantage in order to bring performance.
Another thing that is worthy to be outlined is the fact that Adriana always impressed me by being attentive
towards routine duties, aspect that counted a lot in our overall performance.
She is suited for this MC position because I really thing that what defines Adriana -“be prepared for the
worst, but hope for the best” can really bring added value to this opportunity.
If I were to characterize Adriana in 3 main aspects I would say about her that she is professionally
dedicated, perfectionist and encouraging of others. Due to her Belbin Profile, Adriana is a combination
of Completer Finisher with Shaper, Team Worker and Resource Investigator, behaviors that were truly
essential for a position of Vice President External Relations in our team. As work style, I would say about
Adriana the next quote: “I am happy to make the contacts and tie up the loose ends” and moreover, she has
a great ability to actively listen to others and help them according to their needs.
Personally, I believe that working with Adriana for one year was a huge honor for me because I
learned a lot from her and she brought to our team a real added value.
Taking all these into consideration, I endorse with a great pleasure and honour Adriana Mahu as
being the best candidate for the position of Vice President Sales in AIESEC in Romania for the term
2012-2013.
Yours sincerely,
Ecaterina Pop
President
AIESEC Iasi, AIESEC in Romania
