The treatment of wastes has become one of the most important concerns of modern society.
Converting waste plastic into gasoline and diesel fuel through a highly effective low-cost pyrolysis
process is a promising technology. In this paper PV/Diesel/Battery hybrid system is suggested to fulfill
the load demand of waste plastic recycling pyrolysis process. A Mathematical and simulation models
using MATLAB/ SIMULINK software for the hybrid PV/Diesel/Battery system components have been
developed. Also, this paper presents a control strategy using Artificial Neural Network Controller
(NNC) technique for coordinating the power flow among the different components of the
PV/Diesel/Battery hybrid system. The results indicate that the proposed control unit using NNC can be
successfully used for controlling the power system for the waste plastic recycling pyrolysis process.
Presentation describes the dynamics and regulatory issues of electric power system evolution with the proliferation of distribution-connected energy resources (DER). Focuses on impacts of transportation and building electrification, rising concern about community resilience, and central roles of urban planning, local governments and community choice energy in achieving state environmental goals. 5. NYC Energy Conservation Code Requirements
1. Local Law No. 564-A creates the New York City Energy
Conservation Code (“City Energy Code”). It adopts the Energy
Conservation Construction Code of New York State (“State
Energy Code”) as the City Energy Code, with some changes
that make it more stringent than the State Energy Code.
2. Local Law No. 476-A adds a new Article 309 to Chapter 3 of
Title 28 of the Administrative Code. It requires owners of
Covered Buildings to submit information to an internet-based
database system relating to the total use of energy and water
for a building for the previous calendar year, in order to provide
benchmarks to track and assess the energy and water use of
certain buildings relative to similar buildings.

6. NYC Energy Conservation Code Requirements
3. Local Law No. 967-A adds a new Article 308 to Chapter 3 of
Title 28 of the Administrative Code. It requires owners to file an
energy efficiency report (ASHRAE Level II) with the Department
every ten years for “base building systems” that use energy
and/or impact energy consumption. Base building systems
include the building envelope and the HVAC, elevator, hot water
and electrical and lighting systems
– The energy audit must be performed by or under the supervision
of an energy auditor, defined as a registered design professional
4. Local Law No. 973-A adds a new Chapter 10 to Title 28 of the
Administrative Code requiring upgrades to lighting systems and
the installation of electrical sub-meters in “tenant spaces”. The
upgrade the lighting systems must comply with the standards
for new systems set forth in section 805 of the City Energy
Code by January 1, 2025.
