and psychological changes that influence
thought and behavior.
Behavior consists of an organism's
external reactions to its environment.
Emotional and behavioral disorder is
an inability to build or maintain satisfactory
interpersonal relationships with peers and/or
teachers.

3. HOW TO I KNOW
Be angry and irritable.
Argue with parents, teachers and other
adults.
 Hurtful, spiteful or vindictive.
Tell major lies - to get something or avoid
responsibilities.
break serious rules - run away from home
or skip school a lot.

4. CAUSES
No one know the
actual causes. It's

5. TYPES
 Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD) or attention deficit disorder
(ADD)
 Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD)
 Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
 Anxiety disorder.
 Depression.
 Bipolar disorder.
 Conduct disorders.

6. ADD vs. ADHD
• Here both are same but ADD is an
outdated term.
• ADHD is the current overarching
name of the condition.
• Common characteristics of the
disorder are hyperactivity problems
related to attention, impulsive
behavior in children etc.

8. Symptoms
 Trouble focusing on
one thing.
 Disoriented when you
speak to them.
 Difficulty remembering
things, instructions,
directions, etc.
 Inattention to detail.

10. (ODD)
 Oppositional defiant disorder is a
disruptive behavior that commonly affects
children.
Symptoms
 Gets angry, throws tantrums, outbursts
frequently, and has low or no self-esteem.
 Is hostile to rules.
 Annoys others deliberately.
 Blames others for all misdeeds.

12. ASD
 Autism, also called as Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a
developmental disorder.
 That includes differences and/or
challenges in social communication
skills, fine and gross motor skills,
speech, and intellectual ability.

 Anxiety is natural response to stress. It’s a
feeling of fear or apprehension about what’s

 Rapid breathing

 It may be described as feelings of sadness,
loss, or anger that interfere with a
person’s everyday activities.

 Weight gain or loss
 Physical pain
 Panic attacks
 Relationship problems
 Social isolation
 Suicidal thoughts

 Bipolar disorder is a mental illness marked by
extreme mood swings from high to low, and from
low to high.
Symptoms
 Feeling sad or hopeless for long periods of time
 Withdrawing from friends and family
 Losing interest in activities that you once enjoyed
 Having a significant change in appetite
 Thinking about or attempting suicide ,or having a
preoccupation with death.
