The snowy owl has black and white feathers, a black beak, and yellow eyes. It lives in North America, the Arctic tundra, and Greenland, eating small birds, rats, squirrels, and fish. To protect itself, the snowy owl will hiss, fight, beat its wings, or hide if scared. Cutting down trees and driving less can help stop global warming and protect the snowy owl.
