Arctic foxes change their fur color between brownish-gray in summer and snow white in winter as camouflage. They live in the tundra regions of Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Russia, Norway and Scandinavia and eat small animals like lemmings as well as leftovers from polar bears. The father protects the den from polar bears while the mother cares for litters of 5-9 pups.
