Smart objects represent an emerging technology that is becoming increasingly sophisticated and can help classrooms integrate new technologies in ways that improve efficiency.

— Вот конкретно этот вариант не подходит, потому что, раз, там много всякой внутренней информации, про которые я не могу говорить, и, два, монетизация «горячего» контента по сути своей ничем не отличается от монетизации любого другого контента: просто когда кого-то из клиентов смущают, извините, сиськи в каком-то из разделов (слайд 2) — что мы делаем? — мы просто выключаем эти материалы (слайд 3). И сайт с горячим контентом превращается в просто развлекательный мужской сайт.
Но зато этим вариантом они подкинули мне идею для другой темы — собственно, заявленной: нативная реклама и специальные редакционные проекты в MAXIM. Потому что монетизировать мужской контент не сложно: взяли да запилили красивый баннер (вот хоть такой — слайд 4).
Куда сложнее — рассказать о клиенте, о рекламодателе так, что читатель, потенциальный покупатель, который уже успел выработать иммунитет, баннерную слепоту к всевозможной прямой рекламе, вдруг проникся идеей, захотел их продукт — ну или как минимум, не раздражался, а с интересом изучил то, что ему предлагают.
Один из патриархов рекламной индустрии Дэвид Огилви тут все уже сказал (слайд 5). Что такое плохая реклама? Это та, которая бесит, вызывает не желание купить продукт или воспользоваться услугой, а раздражение. This fact does not prevent the final outcome of an experiment is still difficult to reproduce. An exhaustive process of documentation can be long, tedious, where access to all the resources must be granted, and after all, the repeatability of results is not even guaranteed. At the same time, we have access to a wealth of files, observational data and publications that could be used more efficiently with a better visibility of the scientific production, avoiding duplication of effort and reinvention.

Both the recent adoption of ‘smart’ mobile devices and the advances in network communications have opened up new opportunities for learning. With our mobile devices we can connect anytime and anywhere to our global identity in the cloud extending our experience with our environment. We are constantly learning in an informal process through our devices in interaction with our physical context
and with people. As Sharples (2010) states, “learning flows across locations, time, topics and technologies rather than occurring within a fixed location”. Novel applications appear everyday, which propose new forms of interactions that superimpose layers of ‘digital’ contextualized information over ‘physical’ environments opening up a new range of learning experiences. In this session, we will discuss recent theory of mobile learning and how this has changed the way we learn. We will review some of the applications developed for supporting learning in several contexts, indoors and outdoors, and how all this
is evolving toward applications for learning in the Smart City. Finally we will discuss the challenges of current and future mobile learning scenarios.

This stack is a compilation of projects and insights on wearables and their implications. It is based on an Intel sponsored studio taught by Philip van Allen, Ben Hooker, and Wendy March (of Intel) in the Art Center College of Design, Media Design Practices MFA program.
The project brief was to discover new approaches to wearable technologies rather than design a specific product. Out of these experimental and speculative projects by the students, Phil and Ben sought to distill insights that can inform future design work in the wearables area. These are in the second part of the stack, starting with a mapping of the ideas.
We were particularly interested in the three themes of the course: Transactions, Contextual Adaptability, and the Aesthetics of Behavior.
