The e-mergency project aims to enhance the current emergency healthcare system by integrating medically trained volunteers, based on extensive research and interviews which revealed critical gaps in emergency response. The findings indicate a significant lack of confidence and knowledge among bystanders regarding first aid, leading to delays in patient care, while also highlighting inefficiencies in utilizing available medical resources. The proposed solution includes a smartphone application to facilitate data transmission from bystanders to emergency services, aiding quicker response times and improving patient outcomes.
