3. LITTLE
DRAGONS
PROGRAM
The Emerald Dragon Little Dragons
program is designed to make exercise
both fun and engaging. It has been
developed to enhance early child
development and focuses in areas such
as physical fitness, coordination, flexibility
and strength.
The classes are also structured to provide
an environment that encourages self-
discipline, social discipline, and a way to
develop focus. We achieve this by
incorporate meditation and breathing
practices, which is a great tool for
calming the mind and balancing
emotion.
4. KIDS KUNG FU
PROGRAM
The Emerald Dragon Shaolin Kung Fu program for
ages 7 to 14 is a tradition martial arts program.
Sometimes it can be an overwhelming experience
in choosing the right martial arts for your child, but
at Emerald Dragon we are not just offering a fun
and athletic sport, we are offering you so much
more.
The Emerald Dragon Shaolin Kung Fu program for
kids aged 7 to 14 is designed to make exercise both
fun and engaging. Our Kung Fu program will also
help parents instil honourable character traits,
sound beliefs and successful habits.
5. ADULTS KUNG FU
The Shaolin Kung Fu Self Defence program is a traditional
martial arts program designed to develop a sound mind
and body. The Shaolin Kung Fu taught in these beginner
classes originates from the Shaolin Temple with origins
that date back 1500 years. At Emerald Dragon, we are
teaching and practicing an ancient art in a modern world
and we focus on fostering a general feeling of well-being
and achievement.
6. TAI CHI
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art of relaxation, healing,
and self-defence. You may often find Tai Chi
compared to other low-impact exercises like Yoga.
The main difference is found in the execution. When
practicing Yoga, there is a focus on holding poses and
postures whilst incorporating breathing techniques.
Within Tai Chi, the postures and forms are constantly
evolving. There are no pauses as the body moves and
some people often describe Tai Chi as a ‘dance-like’.
This is due to the controlled, fluid, and constant
movement.
