Senior Trainer, Follow Up and Support The Technology for Improved
Learning Outcomes (TILO) program works in eleven governorates across
Egypt to improve the quality of teaching and learning through the effective use
of technology in schools. The U.S. Agency for International Development and
the TILO team are working closely with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry
of Communication and Information Technology and private sector partners to
develop scalable models to integrate the use of education technology into
school based reform activities in ways that improve student learning
outcomes.
o Providing ongoing liaison with the TILO Master Trainers/ Follow Up
and Support Trainers, with TILO Coordinators, School
Administrators, Ministry of Education Inspectors, Supervisors and
Teachers.
o Providing Follow Up and Support to TILO Schools, monitor and
evaluate the progress.
o Coach and mentor new Master trainers.
o Monitored and evaluated training delivery by MoE Master Trainers,
collected data, and provided required feedback to improve trainers
practice.
o Provided continuous follow up and support to School Leadership,
Teachers, MoE Supervisors.
o Collected data using Follow Up and Support tools and provided
recommendations to improve teachers teaching practice, improve
students’learning outcomes, support schools’ reform, and MoE
organization development to achieve sustainability.
o Establishing relationships and obtain the required support from MOE
officials at the governorate, Muduria, Idara and schools to facilitate the

Community Mobilization
NSP is an education reform program funded by the USAID aiming at
increasing girls access in education and integrating IT, Supporting school
based reform and community participation in education.
o Enabling & facilitate a series of workshops focusing on community
education teams (CETs) to raise awareness of the team, voluntary
work , Good Governance of the issues of girls’ education, through
strategic planning of each community for the education reform of
girls and MGs in designing advocacy campaigns .
o Supporting schools to accreditation.
o Establishing good relations between the MOE officials and BOTs to
support the educational process, to raise the capacity through
performance indicators assessment of their roles to ensure the
continuity and quality of the BOTPTs.
o Implement many initiatives aimed at empowering the marginalized
and the poor girls (forums , Parliament of the child, Women's
empowerment , mapping Rights of the Child in communities )
From Dec.98 - Oct. 2000 - Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social
Services
Educational Program Coordinator
o Responsible for: Planning with different government sectors and
civil society institutes, implementing the activities by government
sharing with NGOs. Concentrating on building the capacity of
NGOs. Developing the Educational Process in the schools through
designing programs for teachers training, supplying schools with the
equipment they need, Health survey for the students, and reducing
the percentage of illiteracy.
o Survey works, formulation of different types of committees, planning
and implementing different activities. Leading community groups
and running different programs, such as: working in Domestic
Economy, Child’s Clubs, Executing of the project “From child to
child”, the project of “CIDPA” for girls, executing of the project “The
Village Girls’ Dreams” by Video cameras.
o I also supervised schools in North and South Cairo, through
complete development, Base Foundation, Teaching Staff, the
Surrounding Society, Students’ levels, through inner and outer
interviews with the help of specialists in the Ministry of Education,
specialized psychologists & doctors. The project lasted for three
years.
