Objective I aim to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. My goal is to have my
students leave class feeling refreshed and renewed by guiding them through intention, meditation,
pranayama, and asana. Inspired by teachers, peers, and my travels, I teach in a way that enables
thought and meaning, letting the student experience for themselves through careful planning and
energy reading. My classes are always challenging physically and mentally, delivered in English
and Sanskrit with uplifting music, and with minimal demonstrations and guided assists.

SF State University Campus Recreation Center – San Francisco, CA
I lead Power, Hatha, and Vinyasa Flow yoga classes for students and staff on campus on a
substitute basis. Classes are fifty minutes long with music in a gym setting.
Private Yoga Instructor April 2014 to Present
Rishikesh, India; Tokyo, Japan; Cerritos, California; Pleasant Hill, California
I instructed clients in their homes and in an outdoor-setting on a one-to-one basis, or in small
groups. Classes were on a donation-basis.
Graduate Research Assistant – Personality and Well-Being Lab August 2014 to Present
San Francisco State University – San Francisco, CA
Our lab focus is on Positive Psychology, or the study of happiness. In particular, we are interested in
studying consumer buying tendencies and their effects on well-being and life satisfaction.
Personal Yoga Practice January 2010 to Present
I personally practice on a daily basis by attending classes 5-6 times a week and practicing at
home. My next training will be a 100-hr Extensions course at Corepower Yoga and a 300-hr training
course in the Summer of 2015.
