This document provides information about majoring in Elementary Education at a university, starting in Fall 2015. The major offers concentrations in Culturally & Linguistically Diverse studies, Literacy, Applied Psychology, Math, and Chicano/a Studies. The program includes significant classroom experience and a one-year student teaching residency. Classes are taught by faculty with elementary teaching experience and informed by educational research.
