This document presents the design and construction project of a speed reducer with gear change capability using a 3D printer. It discusses the theoretical framework of speed reducers and 3D printing technologies. It then details the practical framework including the selection of a speed reducer type and 3D printing method. The design process and 3D printing of the parts are described. Finally, the assembly, conclusions, and future work are outlined. The project aims to design and build a simple speed reducer that demonstrates gear changes using parts fabricated with a 3D printer.
