Skills and Qualifications
 Authorized Protection Engineer in National Electric Power Co,(NEPCo), Jordan to work
in the energized substations in different voltage levels, starting from 6KV to 400 KV
 Good experience in testing and commissioning of power system protection relays and
control system.
 Good experience in the maintenance of the protection systems, including the transmission
line protection, Transformer protection, Bus-Bar protection, 33kv feeder’s protection, etc.
 Trouble shooting in protection and control schemes, trouble shooting in operating
equipment’s and devices.
 Skill in operation of static and digital relays. Interface knowledge to communicate
to relays by manual and computer operated software methods to change the operating
settings as per system requirements.
 Good background in power cables manufacturing, testing and types.
 Good knowledge in renewable energy systems.

 Testing and commissioning of HV equipment’s like CT, VT.
 Detailed work on protection schemes, tripping schemes, etc.
 Authorized to work in energized substations.
 Testing and maintenance for different types of protection relays, like
• (O/C, E/F) (Directional or non-Directional) relays like
(SPAJ140,SPAD/ABB, KCGG142/ALSTOM, 7SJ52/SIEMENS,
MiCOM/ALSTOM, REX/ABB, etc.),
• Distance Relays like ( MiCOM P437,P441,P442,P443, REL521,670/ABB,
Siemens 7SA511/7SA513/7SA522 ,MICROMHO, Quadromho/ALSTOM,
SEL 321, etc.)
• Differential Relays like ( MiCOM P631,P632 , 47UT613 Siemens , SPAD
346/ABB 670 etc.)
• BB protection relays, breaker failure relays, trip circuit supervision

 REF Stability and diff stability tests schemes for power transformer, Busbar stability and
