This document provides instructions for using an e-learning portal for online classes. It explains that the portal allows students to access live-streamed lessons, recorded digital lessons, and check their remaining credit balance. Basic guidelines are outlined for participating in live online classes through Zoom, including logging on early and keeping webcams on. A schedule is provided for live-streamed classes divided by subject and campus. Students are directed to log into the portal 15 minutes before their scheduled class time. Tutorial videos demonstrate how to navigate the portal and access lessons and account information. Technical support contact details are provided at the end.

for arranging make-up lessons and accessing of student QR code for
attendance taking.

5. What can I use the E-Learning Account for?

6. Live-stream Lessons
Live-stream lessons will be conducted via the Zoom platform alongside
physical lessons. You will get the same support as students who are
attending the physical class.
ü Free and Unlimited 1-to-1 Consultation sessions (physically or via Zoom)
ü Materials are provided (watermarked / printed version)
ü Tutor WhatsApp Helpline
ü Admin Support

7. If this is your first time using Zoom, you are highly encouraged to download the application before
your first live-stream lesson.

9. Basic guidelines
◦ You are recommended to login to your E-learning portal account 10 minutes before the start of your
live-stream lesson.
◦ Ensure that your id is in the format “Full Name (sch)”
◦ Please ensure your audio and webcam looks like this
◦ To ensure accountability and prevent misuse of the platform, we urge the cooperation of all students
to ensure that their webcam is switched on at all times during the lessons and adhere to their
respective time slots to the best of their ability. Please be appropriately dressed.
◦ As the chat function is allowed for questions to tutors, please be mindful and respectful during usage.
◦ You may be removed from the session if you do not comply with the guidelines.

12. Digital Lessons
Digital lessons are recorded live in class. If you have missed the
lesson throughout the entire week (physical/livestream), you may
view the recorded version of the lesson on the E-Learning Portal to
catch up on your learning.
The lesson will be uploaded the following Monday and
will only be available for 7 days.

13. Remaining MS$
Upon registration, students who are registered in the Chemistry
regular classes will get MS$50 upon successful registration. MS$ can
be used to offset fees for holiday crash course or additional
Chemistry programmes.
Transaction history and remaining MS$ balance will be
reflected in the E-Learning Portal.
