Program Objectives
1. To produce knowledge who will become effective synthesizer of organized knowledge to allow critical and analytical thinking;
2. To provide avenues for education students to upgrade their classroom learning by encouraging attendance symposia, seminars, for a, lecture series to better equip them
as future educators
3. Demonstrate understanding and mastery of the fundamental knowledge and skills required for effective professional practice in the field of specialization.
SPECIFIC COURSE INFORMATION
Course Description: This course engages the pre-service English teachers in the selection, development, production, and evaluation of variety og language teaching and learning
resources based on the identified K to 12 learning competencies. Through this activities, they are able to demonstrate content knowledge on the principles and procedures of
language materials development. Students show competence in employing innovative strategies on the design and developments of the contextualize and localized instruction
materials that provide opportunities for meaningful, purposeful language use thereby facilitate language learning and teaching.

Course Outcome
At the end of this course, students shall be able to:
1. demonstrate content knowledge on the principles and procedures of designing and developing contextualized and localized materials, and
2. show competence in the selection and development of language learning materials.

To produce knowledge who will become effective synthesizer of organized knowledge to allow critical and analytical thinking; 2. To provide avenues for education students to upgrade their classroom learning by encouraging attendance symposia, seminars, for a, lecture series to better equip them as future educators 3. Demonstrate understanding and mastery of the fundamental knowledge and skills required for effective professional practice in the field of specialization. SPECIFIC COURSE INFORMATION Course Description: This course engages the pre-service English teachers in the selection, development, production, and evaluation of variety og language teaching and learning resources based on the identified K to 12 learning competencies. Through this activities, they are able to demonstrate content knowledge on the principles and procedures of language materials development. Students show competence in employing innovative strategies on the design and developments of the contextualize and localized instruction materials that provide opportunities for meaningful, purposeful language use thereby facilitate language learning and teaching. Pre-requisite(s): EL 103 Co-requisite(s): SPECIFIC GOALS FOR THE COURSE Course Outcome At the end of this course, students shall be able to: 1. demonstrate content knowledge on the principles and procedures of designing and developing contextualized and localized materials, and 2. show competence in the selection and development of language learning materials.
