Overthinking is a certain form of
fear that is not give enough
consideration in our personal
and professional lives.
This fear can have serious
consequences for us and
become even a bigger problem
to tackle when it is combined
with emotion, imagination,
doubt and reminiscence.
1- Fear, Anxiety
& Distress
But the worse being fear.
When combined with overthinking it
can cause not only unnecessary
distress and anxiety in your life but
also it renders you unable to enjoy
life in the present form.
This state of mind also strips you
from taking any advantage of what
you have now rather than what you
don’t.

Overthinking
can act as a
self made trap
where you
deliberately
confine yourself
inside a box from
which either you
can’t get out or
simply unable to
think out of
the box.

When you are in such a
mode the simplest of
things in life become too
complicated to attend to
let alone find solutions.
Even smallest of the
things seem a gigantic
task to you
just because of over
complicating things
and your life
due to overthinking.

Follow these simple steps and you
will be able avoid overthinking as
well as minimise it's effects.
1-Just Don’t Make A Habit Of
Overthinking Everything
Simply don’t overthink
things in life too much as
it has the ability to
overcomplicate not only
just those things but
your life as a whole.
Know and realise that
overthinking everything
in life is not beneficial in
any way.
So you don’t have to
overcomplicate things
and life just simply by
overthinking everything.
2-Simplify Tasks &
Things
Try to break down the things and task at hand
into smaller pieces and sort them out one at a
time.
This will enable you to get a firm grip on things
and find appropriate timely solutions.
This will also help you to uncomplicate things
and as a result your life.
Now you will be able to concentrate
thoroughly on the more important tasks at
hand and not get distracted by other
unimportant things.
3-A Fresh/New Perspective
If you are still struggling with effects of overthinking and unable to find
solutions; then changing your perspective about such matters and things
will be of great help.
You have to come out of that overthinking mode and start to think with a
whole new set of fresh ideas as how to go about such things and life in
general. Even taking time off from work or whatever that you are doing is

Optimistic
Be more positive in life and optimistic
rather than being a pessimist.
Think as what can go right rather than
what might go wrong.
Don’t overcomplicate life by seeing the
negative side of things & life.
Don’t worry about the things that you
cannot control and even if something
bad has happened try to take it as a
lesson learned and see it as an
opportunity to improve.
6-Be Happy &
Grateful
Try to be more happy and grateful
what you have rather than what you
don’t.
Do what you love and makes you
happy. Keep yourself and your mind
distracted by doing something you
like.
Start exercise or even a hobby to make
you feel relax and allow your mind to
work on the things you like and love.
7-Live In The
Present
Live in the present moment not in the past or
future. Don’t worry about the future and what you
might not able to do or get.
Do what matters now in the present to make you
better as well as what feels good.
Don’t overburden your mind with what might
happen or occur in future.
Live the present moment fully and completely
without any fear or regret.

Overthinking is a common and natural phenomenon that can hit anyone
anytime without any prior notice or warning. Overthinking can cause some
serious problems and damage to your personal as well as professional life
depending on its severity as well your ability to deal with it.
The risks associated with overthinking is not only enhanced but becomes a
serious concern and a threat when it is supplemented with fear, stress,
anxiety and negative emotions. Under such circumstances you are unable to
do the simplest of tasks in life without anxiety and your outlook of life is very
negative.

overcome negative emotions.
The trick is not to go into a negative spiral of
