  1. Brainstorm ideas on how you would use iPads in the classroom. • Subjects • Assessments • Social Aspects • Active Learning
  2. You can use iPads in subjects such as, Language Arts, Math, Science, Electives, and Social Studies. You can also use iPads for students to socialize and have down time.
  3. Teachers use iPads to consume, collaborate, and produce.
  4. Different apps to use in the classroom. • Camera: Students make short videos or take pictures of things they discovered or learned. • Safari: Use the internet for anything. Students can create bookmarks and create web clips. iMovie: Students can take elements of topics and act out scenarios that show their understanding. • Socrative: Students can contribute to class rules. Open discussions about citizenship. You can use this app as an exit ticket. • Notability: Type, draw, record audio, and incorporate pictures into their note taking process. Turn in work as PDF or other file format. Take picture and write below. Take picture and talk through process. Take picture and type below. • Cloud Storage: Create a box or drop box account. Link notability to cloud storage. • Book Creator: Create books to hold all material for a project including work done in other apps and publish to school library.
