The Educational Technology Committee met on November 11-12, 2010. They discussed the following: 1. An action item to have the Global Workgroup focus on developing a distance learning orientation and delivery methods, with a proposed task list and timeline. 2. A discussion item on proposed changes to the intellectual property section of the VCCS policy manual based on system counsel feedback. 3. Information items including an eLET report, a completed CCRC developmental online study, an upcoming CCRC distance learning study examining online course content and instruction, and a planned comparison of asynchronous/hybrid course success rates.
