7. Integrating technology with teaching
means the use of learning
technologies to : The difference between the classrooms of
exemplary users of technology and technology
users is the way their classes are conducted.
In the exemplary classrooms, student use of
computers is woven integrally into the
patterns of teaching; software is a natural
extension of student tools.
There is no integration process in letting the
students play computer games to give them a
rest period during classes.
Neither is there Integration if the teacher
merely teaches students computer skill.
8. There s a change in
the way classes are
traditionally
conducted.
The quality of
instruction is
improved to a
higher level.
There is planning
by the teacher on
the process of
determining how
and when
technology fit.
The teacher sets
instructional
strategies to
address specific
instructional issues
problems.
The use of
technology
occupies a position
( is a simple or
complex way) in the
instructional
process.
11. Information
Technology has made
education Accessible
for all the students.
Information
Technology has made
Access to Research
and Information
much easier.
Information
Technology has made
group studies and
assignments much
easier.
Role Of IT In Educational
technology
17. Technology should not
replace teachers. Its main
use is to enable students
learn better through
increasing their
engagement in
educational activities.
Technology is not
having cool ipads or
expensive gadgets;
it is about the
learning process.
Technology has to
improve the learning
process and aim at
improving student’s
grades.
Technology has to
facilitate and
stimulate individual
learning. Students
should use
technology to learn
on their own with
limited help from
teachers
NOTE:
24. Goal
Government with
education and technology
sectors, community
groups and industry
envisions to support to the
development of the
capability of schools to
use information and
communication
technologies in teaching-
and-learning and in
administration.
Strategy
Improving learning
outcomes for students
using ICT to support
curriculum
Using ICT to improve the
efficiency and
effectiveness of
educational
administration
Developing partnerships
with communities to
enhance access to
learning through ICT
Focus Areas
Infrastructure for
increasing school’s access
to ICTs to enhance
education
Professional development
so that school managers
and teachers can increase
their capacity to use ICT
27. Planning, Funding And Implementation Strategies:
Fast local and
wide area
networks
linking schools
across the state
and territory
Substantial
number of
computers in
schools,
ensuring
adequate access
Continuing
teacher training
in the use of
technology for
instruction
30. Nowadays, in modern
times technology has been used
in introducing the topic to the
classroom and PowerPoint is the
most commonly use visual aid in
introducing the topic in which
teaching learning process is more
effective because it is more
clearer to the student that
motivates them to listen and gives
focus to the lesson because the
teacher can add pictures, displays
animations and etc. In which it
can get the students interest.
My reflection about what i
have learn in Educational
Technology 2 is about the
advancement of technology to our
education. From traditional way of
teaching, teachers used books,
paper, pencil and chalk, and
chalkboard as visual materials in
introducing the topic to the
students.

31. In integrating
technology in instruction,
teachers have a big role in
planning the integration
because not all computer
games, application and
software relates to the
lesson.
Therefore, as future
teacher I should be careful
enough in integrating
technology to the lesson.
And also, in integrating
technology to the lesson, I
should occupy from simple
to complex way in the
instructional process.
