Students should log into EduTyping using their UA email username and password. The first assignment is a baseline test under custom lessons to assess keyboarding skills. While the practice library is required, only timed writings will be graded. Games are available for additional practice to improve speed and accuracy.

4. Assignments
Many of you have had some type of keyboard
experience. Therefore, you will not be doing the
Course Lessons (repetitive keying), but will be
using the Practice Library.
The first assignment is found under Custom
Lessons, called Baseline. The assignment will
give a baseline of your keyboarding skills. So
please complete the Baseline assignment before
you start any other practices.
The only items that will be graded are the Timed
Writings, however, you are required to complete
the Practice Library.
There are a few fun games that will help with your
speed and accuracy. Check them out!
You may do the Timed
Writings only once.
