4. Analysis
 Most EDM pages (the front covers, contents pages and double-page spreads)
of magazines have a definite colour scheme where the colours are bright and
retro-looking to resemble strobe lights at a night club and connotes that EDM is
fun and playful. The colours also do not adhere to either gender in particular to
connote that the genre is for men as well as women.
 There is usually only one image in the pages to give emphasis on the person
being portrayed in the main image and does not draw attention away from it.
 The mastheads associated with EDM are usually bold and eye-catching as well
as quirky. They are normally rather large but do not draw attention away from
the main image.
 The artists associated with EDM normally are portrayed as introverted (i.e they
have large sunglasses, they do not have a direct mode of address) which
suggests that the fans should just love their music as opposed to wanting to
know their personal life and ideologies.
