This document discusses the author's professional learning network (PLN) on Twitter. It begins by listing five Twitter accounts the author follows related to education in the UK, where the author wants to teach. However, the concluding paragraphs express that while the author engages with their PLN during class, they do not feel like growing it further at the moment. The discussions in the class have also led the author to reconsider whether they want to become a teacher after all.

on
I follow them particularly
because I eventually want to
teach in the UK and they are
always posting links
connecting to education
articles and school issues
4. Chantelle
Hawkins
I followed her because I was
reading a debate between her
and George one class and I
agreed with pretty much
everything she was saying.
She has lots of good ideas
and I like the way she looks
at things
5. School
related
I follow this 5 particularly
because they are connected
to school work and they keep
me up to date with
information that is important
for me to know.
6. Thoughts on my PLN
Don’t get me wrong I’m all for tweeting and social
media to make connections for career related
purposes, but being who I am I just don’t feel like
growing it at the moment. The only time I actually
spend on my “edu” twitter is for EDIT on Tuesdays
the rest of the week I’m on my normal twitter. Yes I
reply to @msgs and I following along with the
#edit202 but only during class do I ever actually
post.
With all the discussions and assignments for this
class I’ve started to rethink whether or not I actually
want to be a teacher which in a way is a good thing.
Better finding out now then 4 years down the road
when I actually have the degree.
