3. My PLN has grown significantly through
the semester. Although I haven’t tweeted
much, I have been “lurking” through
converstations such as #edchat
#edtechchat and #elemchat.
I have started following many teachers,
administrators and pre-service teachers
from my hometown.
5.
Wayne Schlosser is the deputy
Superintendent of the Catholic School
Board in my hometown of Medicine Hat. It
is a school district that I one day hope to
work for, so I believe seeing what issues he
is tweeting about as well as interacting with
him via twitter will help establish myself on
the twitter community as an eager learner. I
also hope it will give me insight on what the
schoolboard believes are areas to focus on
in the coming years.
7.
Reagan Weeks is a principal at an
elementary school In Medicine Hat. She is
extremely active on her twitter account,
using it to communicate with parents,
teachers and other administrators.
Because of my lack of experience on
twitter with the education conversations, I
watch her account during these times and
learn through the topics and conversations
she takes part in.
9.
I follow TED_ED because I love
watching TED talks. I love hearing about
different perspectives, ideas and
thoughts on a variety of different topics
regarding education. I watch TED Talks
about Education when I’m feeling down
about school, and they always motivate
me and remind me why I’m in the
Education program and that if I work
hard I can motivate people one day, too!
