The Case for Bots
Gartner predicts that by 2020, the average person will have more conversations with bots
than with their spouse. 1
Dell predicts that 85 per cent of the jobs that will exist in 2030 have not yet been invented,
but will require skills in robotics, analytics, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, and machine
learning.2
Juniper Research predicts the use of chatbots in the financial and healthcare industries will
save a collective US$22 billion in time and salary expenses by 2022.3
In 2017 WhatsApp had 1.5 billion monthly active users worldwide (650% increase since
2013). The service is one of the most popular mobile apps worldwide.4
