1) Camptocamp developed a new framework and connector to connect Magento and OpenERP/Odoo in a more reliable and extensible way compared to the previous connector. 2) The new framework allows individual asynchronous jobs, environments for different services/versions, and easier development of new connectors. 3) The Magento connector specifically improved sales order synchronization, customer import, catalog handling, stock synchronization, and integrated generic framework features. 4) A demo showed the end-to-end sales process flow between Magento and OpenERP/Odoo using the new connector.
