This document provides an overview of ECG criteria for administering thrombolysis in patients presenting with chest pain. It discusses the key criteria including characteristic pain lasting over 30 minutes up to 12 hours that is not relieved by nitrates, as well as ECG changes such as ST elevation of 1mm or greater in two limb leads or 2mm or greater in two or more adjacent chest leads. It also notes that the 12-lead ECG may appear normal in some patients with unstable angina.
