The eat+LIVE team conducted a 25-day study to determine if providing healthier pre-prepared meals and snack recommendations could lead to positive health outcomes like weight loss. Twenty female employees over age 21 with a BMI over 25 and low physical activity levels were split into two groups - one received eat+LIVE meals and the other did not. The group that received the meals lost on average 4.0% of their body weight, ranging from 4.0 to 14.4 pounds, showing that a lifestyle intervention focused on easier access to nutritious meals can effectively lead to weight loss.
