This survey examines the influence of parents on children's eating habits. It collected data from parents on topics like how often they discuss healthy eating, plan family meals, consider factors like price and nutrition labels when shopping, and encourage eating from major food groups. The results showed most parents discuss healthy eating and plan meals occasionally with their children. Taste was the main factor influencing product choices, and homemade meals were prepared daily or usually. Most families also ate dinner and fruits together regularly but vegetable consumption varied more. The survey aimed to understand parental influences on children's diets to help promote healthy eating.
