Tom and Cynthia Rosicki donated $250,000 to renovate the operating rooms at Eastern Long Island Hospital, which had not been updated since 1976, making them the lead contributors to the $4.5 million project. The renovations will completely update each of the hospital's three operating rooms and one procedure room with new LED lighting, high-definition monitors, electrical systems, and reinforced ceilings to support medical equipment. Additionally, a 1,500 square foot addition will be constructed and renovations will be done in phases to avoid disrupting medical services.

the law firm Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates, P.C.,
were recently honored as the lead contributors
to the remodeling of the operating room at
Eastern Long Island Hospital, which has not
been renovated since 1976. The Rosickis gave
$250,000 toward the $4.5 million project. After
the couple was presented with a plaque
recognizing their contribution, Tom Rosicki
discussed the importance of having good health
care facilities nearby.

3. The hospital has three operating rooms and one
procedure room. In Operation Renew, as the
project has been called, each room will be
completely remodeled and outfitted with LED
lighting, high-definition wide-screen monitors,
and electrical upgrades. A reinforced-steel
ceiling also will be added, strong enough for
medical equipment to hang from its beams.
Other upgrades, including wireless Internet
capability, will allow surgeons to use the most
up-to-date technology.

4. Furthermore, the hospital will construct a
1,500-square-foot addition on the building’s
north side. Renovations to the rooms will be
done in phases so that medical services will
not be disrupted.
