Stanfort J. Perry Named AHRC Nassau Executive Director
1.
2. Stanfort J. Perry will become the new executive
director of AHRC Nassau when Michael
Mascari retires at the end of the year. Mr.
Mascari, who has held the position for 26 years,
said in a press statement that Mr. Perry’s
extensive experience and compassion for
AHRC’s clients and their families made him a
standout candidate for the job. As New York
State closes longstanding residential institutions
for people with developmental and other
disabilities, care models are focusing more on
individualized, self-directed services, Mr.
Mascari said.
3. In 2013, Mr. Perry was named the associate
executive director of AHRC Nassau, the
state’s third-largest agency serving people
with developmental disabilities. He now
manages programs that include the
organization’s residential care, day care,
employment services, and family and
community support. As the executive
director, he also will oversee AHRC’s affiliate
programs, including the Brookville Center
for Children’s Services, as well as a $200
million operating budget and workforce of
more than 3,000 people.
4. AHRC Nassau serves more than 4,000
people on Long Island annually.
Hallie Greene is a director with Rosicki,
Rosicki & Associates, P.C., and serves
AHRC Nassau as a member of its Board
of Directors and chairperson of its
Human Resources Committee.
