INTRODUCTION :
Electrical wiring is an electrical installation of cabling and associated devices such as switches, distribution boards, sockets and light fittings in a structure. Wiring is subjected to safety standards for design and installation. Allowable wire and cable types and sixes are specified according to the circuit operating voltage and electric current capability, with further restriction on environmental conditions ,such as ambient temperature range, moisture levels, and exposure to sunlight and chemicals .
Associated circuit protection, control and distribution devices within a building’s wiring system are subject to voltage, current and functional specification. It is necessary to select proper type of wiring scheme for the domestic purpose. Thus a network of wires connecting various accessories for distribution of electrical energy from the supplier meter board to the numerous electrical energy consuming devices through controlling and safety devices is known as Electrical wiring.

Domestic electric circuits:
1.Electric power is usually generated at places which are far away from the places where it is consumed . At the generating station, the electric power is generated at 11KV volts . This voltage alternates at a frequency of 50HZ.
2.The power is transmitted over a long distance at high voltages to minimize the loss of energy in the transmission.
3.The electric power line enter our house through three wires -namely the live wire, the neutral wire and the earth wire.
4.To avoid confusion we follow a colour code for insulating these wires.
5.The ted wire is the live wire, and the black wire is neutral, the earth wire is given green plastic insulation.
Domestic wiring
1.The live wire has a high potential of 220V whereas the neutral wire has zero potential .Thus the potential difference between the live wire and the neutral wire is 220-0=220V.
2.The earth wire is much thicker in size and is made of copper. One end of it is connected to a copper plate buried deep under the earth. The earth connection is made to the electric meter and then the main switch.

Abstract All materials or products, plants, constructions and building made of structural elements are subjected to physical wear during
use. Corrosion is a multi- billion dollar problem. Corrosion causes deterioration of material and leads to destruction of
structures ultimately affects the environment. Corrosion is a chemical or electrochemical phenomenon which can attack any metal
or substances through reaction by the surrounding environment. The second is conservation, applied primarily to metal
resources, the world’s supply of which is limited. The project is aimed at preventing corrosion that is minimising the rate of
corrosion using polypropylene fibre and epoxy coating. In this work an attempt is planned to study the effects of fibres in concrete
and to study the coating provided to the reinforcement. To accelerate the corrosion for a short term process of impressed current
is induced. In this project it is aimed to study the effect of coating given to the reinforcement and effect of adding fibre in the
concrete.

Behaviour of concrete beams reinforced with glass fibre reinforced polymer flatseSAT Journals
Abstract Concrete is very strong in compression but it is extremely weak in tension. To resist the tensile stress, steel reinforcement is provided in concrete. Reinforcement corrosion and structural deterioration in reinforced concrete structures are common, and prompted many researchers to seek alternative materials and rehabilitation techniques. One such material that has been offered as an alternative to mild steel reinforcement is Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars and flats. For the repair and strengthening of structural concrete members, strengthening with Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) plates is an excellent option. The present work is to study the behavior of Shear resistance of the silica coated GFRP stirrups in the shear test zone. A series of studies were conducted using silica coated GFRP stirrups in shear zone. It is observed that beams with silica coated GFRP flats shear reinforcement have shown failure at higher loads than the theoretical failure loads. Further it is observed that GFRP flats as shear reinforcement exhibit fairly good ductility. Detailed experimental investigations, results and conclusions are given in the page that follows.

5. Plate burred at the depth of 8 feet in the vertical position and GI strip
of size 50 mmx6 mm bolted with the plate is brought up to the ground

8. For Pipe type earthing normal practice is to use GI pipe [C-class] of 75
mm diameter, 10 feet long welded with 75 mm diameter GI flange
having 6 numbers of holes for the connection of earth wires and inserted
in ground by auger method.
9. 1. In this system of earthing 12.5mm daimeter solid rod of copper 16mm
daimeter solid rod of GI or steel or hollow section of 25mm GI pipe of
length not less than 3 meter are driven ver tically into the earth
