The Minnesota Native Plant Society board met to discuss future conservation priorities, programming events, and bylaw updates. They decided to focus conservation efforts on one key issue like biofuels, off-highway vehicle use, or sustainable forestry. The board also plans botanical workshops for members and discussed possible topics for the 2010 symposium. Finally, they will update the bylaws and operations manual for the first time in five years.
