The document provides a storyboard for a video on creating an electronic portfolio. It outlines 14 scenes that will be included in the video, describing the background, narration, text, and other elements for each scene. The scenes cover topics like defining an electronic portfolio, comparing it to a traditional portfolio, choosing content, selecting a website, and creating and editing the portfolio site. The storyboard provides a detailed outline of the content and flow of the instructional video.
Inclusive design principles for WordPressJoe Ortenzi
Incorporating inclusive design principles into a WordPress site is not as difficult as it sounds not does it require much technical wizardry.
A good first step would be to understand what Inclusive Design means, ad a few easy actions into your everyday activities, and expand on that solid grounding by continuing your education with some of the resources and links supplied.

This presentation covers the various types of multimedia, the advantages and disadvantages of their use as well as how multimedia can be used in education.
Developing ideas with video - Y1 ICT Specialists, Lecture 15.Miles Berry
We brainstorm ideas for using video in primary education. You practice creating a narrated screencast of your Project. You record an interview with your partner and learn to use video editing software.
FOLLOW-UP
• Post your screen cast and interview to your blog.
• Make a start on creating your video essay, perhaps incorporating sections of your screencast.
• Draw any remaining work on your Scratch project to a conclusion and assemble media you wish to use in your video essay.
• Chapter 5, Microworlds: Incubators for Knowledge in Papert (1980)
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
• Chapter 3 of Pritchard (2008)
• Counts (2004)
Learn how to see beyond typical agile user stories that annoy instead of inspire when building the “unknown”. Pave the way forward for your team by writing design stories that break down a complex problem into “tiny pulses” that when put together make up a complex system. Apply “Design Thinking” to not lose sight of the big picture and avoid leading your team down the wrong path of development and stifle innovation. See how thought leaders in Lean startup and Experience design are already re-evaluating their methods when measuring complexities of a system.
Most importantly see how design stories can be the uniting factor for cross-functional teams: everyone “owns” the design, inspires developers to tackle complex and feature rich digital products with selective planning and architecture that include UI patterns, Lean methods, and promotes holistic thinking that makes everyone more effective and efficient in their work.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Selecting Content
What should you include?
Welcome
Summarize who you are and a bit
about what visitors will find in your
e-portfolio. Give your audience a
flavor for what you’re all about and
let them know what you value.
Table of Contents
Include ways to display links to
contents of the portfolio.
Résumé or Vita
Summarize your education,
achievements, and work experience.
Include detailed information on your
skills.
Work samples
This information is as diverse as
your background. Upload articles,
papers, projects, reports, and
publications so your audience can
see your work. Consider including
graphics, audio and video for further
illustration.
Instructor feedback or evaluations.

(Sketch screen here noting color, place, size of graphics if any)
Every portfolio will be different
as each person’s experiences and
backgrounds are unique. An
electronic portfolio should
contain professional or careerrelated content that expands,
supports and elaborates on what
is found on a resume.
Throughout your academic
career and employment, collect
and preserve documents and
items that should be considered
for inclusion in an electronic
portfolio, and only post a limited
amount of information. Readers
will fail to explore all of the
links provided if too much
content is included. Here are
some things you may want to
include but are certainly not
limited to. Include a welcome
that summarizes who you are
and what visitors will find in
your portfolio. Include a site
map of ways to display links to
your portfolio contents. You
may also want to include a
resume or curriculum vita.
You’ll definitely want to include
samples of your work; this will
be a large component of the
overall portfolio. As an
instructor, you may want to also
include evaluations received in
the past.

Google Docs is another great part of the Google suite
that allows you to create and store files online, which
means you can access them from wherever you have an
internet connection. You can embed text documents,
presentations, or spreadsheets directly from Google
Docs. If you have a PDF, you can provide a link to the
PDF, or attach it as a file and provide a link to the
downloadable file. But note that Sites doesn’t offer
automatic preview for PDFs. We will use the following
steps to add a document, a photo, and a video.
When you have files stored in Google Docs, inserting
lengthy documents is made easy in Sites. To make sure
that a Google document is viewable to site visitors,
publish the document as a web page in Google Docs.
To do this, click on “share,” choose “publish as web
page,” check off “automatically re-publish when
changes are made,” and save. To embed a document in
your site, go to “edit page,” choose “insert,” “drive,”
and then select “document.” A list of your stored
documents will appear. Click on the document you
want to insert and some options will appear.
Inserting other media is easy, and having media to
support your portfolio is important. On the site, go to
the page where you’d like to include an image. On the
top left, click on “insert,” and choose “image.” You’ll
get a choice of “uploaded images” or image from URL.
Choose “uploaded images” and upload the image just
as you would attach one to an email. After the image is
uploaded, a toolbar will appear when you click on it in
edit mode. L-C-R allows you to align it either left,
center, or right. Size options allow you to resize to fit
the page.
Videos can be added in two different ways. The
“insert” menu offers the option to insert a video from
Google Video or YouTube. If you’re using a site like
Vimeo or Flickr, you can manually embed video. On
the edit page toolbar, click on the “html” button. Copy
the embed code from your video-sharing site and paste
it into the text box that pops up.
