Estefania Sauto from Loyola University's class of 2017. She will major in Human Resources Management with a focus on Catholic studies. She enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, baking with her sisters, singing and playing guitar. She chose Loyola to study at a school sharing her principles and to challenge herself by moving to a big city. Her goals are to gain knowledge and wisdom to help others, step outside her comfort zone, and use her HR skills to contribute back home. She aims to participate fully in class and get involved in community service and religious groups on a regular basis.

2. Estefania’s Interests
 I will be majoring in Human Resources Management
 I enjoy playing sports specially soccer and volleyball. I
also love to bake with my sisters; sing and play guitar
with them.
 I chose Loyola University because I wanted to study in a
school that value the same principles as I do therefore
my major will have a focus on Catholic studies. I also
found the whole experience of moving in to a big city
challenging and entertaining that will help shape my
character into becoming more independent person.


3.  Goal Statement: I want to take
advantage of the opportunity of studying
in Loyola and become someone that
strives to gain knowledge and wisdom,
offering to others the best of me. Also, I
would like to step away from my comfort
zone and be open to life changing
experiences that might come. Last, go
back to my country and contribute to
others the knowledge Loyola has given to
me, using Human Resources skills I will
have gained.

4.  Academic goal:
 I want to have a discipline of studying for
every subject and turning in all the
assignments even though they are not
graded.
 Participate in class discussions.
 Look for help if I cant keep up
 Personal goal: Get involve in community
service groups, religious organizations,
finding a balance in my schedule.
 Start of by assisting the religious
organization groups twice a week, and
getting involve every Saturday (if possible)
in community service project.

5.  Commitment to value: During my first
semester at Loyola I will be able to
demonstrate the value of caring for
others. I will care for others by assisting a
community service group and helping the
less fortunate. This helps me realize all the
opportunities I have and also give
something back to this community that
has given so much to me. I will start caring
for others on a regular basis in campus
and try to make it a habit and a way of
living.
