The eMarket Services
project
eMarket Services

eMarket Services is funded and operated by the trade
promotion organisations of Canada, Norway and
Spain.

Launched in 1999, eMarket Services is a non profit
project and serves to help our companies to expand
their business.

Our mission is to make it easier for companies to use
e-marketplaces to find new customers and suppliers
for their international business.

                                                        2
How is eMarket Services organized?
The project is owned and funding by all partners in equal
 shares.
A National Managers Committee, consisting of senior
management delegates from all partners make the
strategic and operating decisions in 2 project meetings
and 8 telephone conferences per year.
The project is managed by a Project Manager and a Web
Master, paid for by the project on a 50 % person/year
basis. The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade has just
begin to host and managed the project for two years.
Each partner will contribute with staff time corresponding
to 1/3 of full time (75 days per year).
Staff from all TPO partners work together, learn from
each other and transfer knowledge to our respective
organizations. Different countries take responsibility for
 various activities.
