Specialty Diode Lasers from 689 – 2150nm
Leveraging its Discrete Mode (DM) proprietary
technology, Eblana has developed a range of highly
specialized diode lasers for the gas-sensing, medical,
energy, defense and aerospace industries.
Eblana produces single mode (DFB equivalent) lasers
over wide wavelength ranges with narrow spectral
linewidth, high power or customized spectrum shape.
Eblana packages include 14-Pin Butterfly, TO (with TEC),
High-Speed 7-Pin Butterfly (with K Connector), co-axial
module and now, a Laser Butterfly Integrated with a
Driver and TEC controller – The DX1.

 State of the art strained quantum well design.
 Single mode achieved through Eblana’s DM
technology with high SMSR >40dB.
 Emission around 1877nm or 1854nm.
 Typical optical power of 4mW.

 Applications: Moisture (H2O) detection.

 State of the art strained quantum well design.
 Single wavelength achieved through DM
technology.
 Emission at 1392.5nm with high SMSR >40dB.
 Typical optical power of 10mW from the fiber.

 Applications: Moisture (H2O) detection.
1654nm DM – Methane (CH4)
 State of the art strained quantum well design.
 Single wavelength achieved through DM
technology.
 Emission at 1653.7nm with high SMSR > 40dB.

 Applications: Methane (CH4) monitoring.

1512nm DM – Ammonia (NH3)
 State of the art strained quantum well design.
 Single wavelength achieved through DM
technology.
 Emission at 1512nm with high SMSR >40dB.
 Typical optical power of 10mW from the fiber.
 Spectral linewidth < 1MHz.
 Applications: Ammonia (NH3) detection.
Narrow Linewidth Laser 1550nm
 100kHz Linewidth.
 Stable single cavity without external cavity or
feedback.
 Tunable by either temperature or current.
 Low RIN -160dB/Hz.
 Low sensitivity to environment and mechanical
vibration.
 Typical power in fiber of 5-8mW.
 Applications: Interferometry, Injection Locking,
Coherent Communications.
High Power 1550nm Fabry-Perot
 Low loss resonator design.
 Output optical power up to 100mW.
 Single transverse mode.
 Efficient coupling to single mode fiber.
