Dyslexia is not a disability, it is just a
different way of thinking. Dyslexia does
impact literacy but the dyslexic mind is
reflected in bigger ways in the education
system academically and behaviourally.
Without this being clearly understood
everyone will continue to see negative
outcomes rather than the potential of the
people who have dyslexia. Problems can
emerge in speaking, reading, spelling, writing &
listening.

Einstein was one of the greatest thinkers in the history of mankind. It
is believed that Einstein was the most brilliant physicist ever to exist.
His theories of relativity led to an entirely new way of thinking about
time, space, matter, energy and gravity and his work led to major
scientific advances. The notion that Einstein was learning disabled has
been furiously debated by Einstein's biographers.

Winston became an internationally respected statesman during World
War II and was one of Britain's well known Prime Ministers. When he
was 12 when his father sent him to Harrow (a very posh private school in
England) and Winston stayed in the lowest grade three times longer
than anyone else. In later life he is being quoted as saying 'By being so
long in the lowest form I gained an immense advantage over the clever
boys, they all went to learn Greek and Latin and splendid things like
that, but I was taught English'. He later excelled in studies of tactics
and fortifications in Sandhurst, a British military college. He graduated

My conclusion is that dyslexic people
learn best in a quiet environment with
nothing that could distract them and
set them off task. If I were teaching a
dyslexic person I would speak slower
and make learning fun by using mind
maps and diagrams. I would also let
them use their finger to trace over
words.
