Partnership Action Plan
Activity:
Form 4 groups
Make an action plan composed of
only 2 programs for strengthening
School- Community Partnership.
Make sure to include the objectives,
timeline, persons involved and
sources of funds.
Program: General Assembly
Objectives:
• To establish Parents - Teachers Association who
will help to plan, organize, implement and evaluate
partnerships
• To enable school communities to share ideas,
issues, and best practices about school –
community relationship.
Timeframe: January
Persons Involved: School staff, parents and other
stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund
Program:Strengthening Family –
School Communication
Objectives:
• To empower and encourage families to
communicate effectively in schools.
• Conduct a survey to assess communication
needs.
• Find out parent time availability for
participation in schools events, programs and
activities.
Timeframe: January
Persons Involved: School Staff, Pupils, Parents,
Other Stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund
Program:Associate Learning at Home
Objectives:
• Examine the links between home learning activities
and learning in the classroom
• Investigate the ways in which parents and
families can encourage, motivate and reinforce
children’s learning at school.
Timeframe: Year-round
Persons Involved: School staff, parents and other
stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund, Canteen
Fund, LSB Fund
Program: A forum about acknowledging the
role of parents in their child’s learning
Objectives:
• Organize discussions, meetings or workshops which
allow parents to share their experience and
understandings of parenting and school goal.
Timeframe: Quarterly
Persons Involved: School staff, parents and other
stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund, Canteen
fund, LSB Fund
Program: Acquiring Partnership with
community resources
Objectives:
• To identify, locate and integrate community
resources that provides services which can
strengthen and support schools, students and
their families.
Timeframe: Year - round
Persons Involved: School staff, parents, and other
stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund, Canteen
fund, LSB Fund
Program:Enhancing Family
Participation
Objectives:
• Implement flexible schedules for volunteers,
assembles and events, so that all are able to
participate.
• Ask family members how they would like to
participate at their child’s school and respond
in a timely manner to those indications.
Timeframe: Year-round
Persons Involved: School staff, parents, & other
stakeholders
Sources of Fund: Local Fund, PTA Fund, Canteen
fund, LSB Fund
Program:Stakeholders Day
Objectives:
• To recognize the effort of parents and other
stakeholders for their participation in all school
activities.
- Giving of certificates and plaque of
appreciation.
Timeframe: December
