7. Judges 6:12 The LORD's angel appeared to
him there and said, "The LORD is with you,
brave and mighty man!"
Judges 6:13 Gideon said to him, "If I may ask,
sir, why has all this happened to us if the
LORD is with us? What happened to all the
wonderful things that our fathers told us the
LORD used to do---how he brought them out
of Egypt? The LORD has abandoned us and
left us to the mercy of the Midianites."

8. Judges 6:14 Then the LORD ordered him, "Go
with all your great strength and rescue Israel
from the Midianites. I myself am sending
you."
Judges 6:15 Gideon replied, "But Lord, how
can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in
the tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least
important member of my family."

POWERLESSNESS is the root to all negative emotions.
1. Guilt- When you feel powerless to do anything about your past.
2. Fear- When you feel powerless to do anything about your future.
3. Depressed- When you feel powerless to change your present.
4. Anger- When you feel like the people in your life will not change.
5. Weak Life – When you experience all of the above.

"If only people wouldn't have treated me like that, I can do it"
“If only my problem was anything other than this, I could handle it.“

Judges 6:15 But Lord, Gideon asked, "how can I save
Israel? I am the least in my family.

Judges 6:13 But sir, Gideon replied,
"if the LORD is with us,
why has all this happened to us?
Where are all his wonders
that our fathers told us about when they said,
'Did not the LORD bring us up out of Egypt?
' But now the LORD has abandoned us
and put us into the hand of Midian."

16. A SIGN CHANGED GIDEON’s MIND
“Judges 6:17 Gideon replied, "If you are truly
going to help me, show me a sign to prove that it
is really the LORD speaking to me.”
Judges 6:37 I'll place some wool on the
threshing floor. If there is dew on the wool
while all the ground is dry, then I'll know that
you will rescue Israel through me, as you said."

17. A SIGN CHANGED GIDEON’s MIND
•Judges 6:39 Then Gideon said to God, "Don't
be angry with me. But let me ask one more
thing. Let me make one more test with the
wool. Let the wool be dry while all the ground
is covered with dew."
•Judges 6:40 During the night, God did what
Gideon asked. The wool was dry, but all the
ground was covered with dew.

18. GIDEON’S SIGN IS A PROPHETIC VISION OF
OUR EXCHANGED LIFE WITH JESUS

be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of
God in Him.
THE EXCHANGED LIFE
• JESUS died your death so You will live His life
• HE bore your sins so that you bear His Righteousness
• HE suffered your curse so that you will enjoy His blessings

19. CHANGE YOUR MIND TODAY
YOU ARE NOT POWERLESS
1. BELIEVE that the ALL_POWERFUL ONE, JESUS is
INSIDE You! (Colossians 1:26-27)
2. EMBRACE the truth that God has not given you a
spirit of fear, but POWER, … (2 Timothy 1:7).
3. WORK OUT that power in you. Ephesians 3:20 says
God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all
you can ask or think ACCORDING TO THE
POWER
THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN YOU.
4. RECOGNIZE AND HONOR the Holy Spirit in you. Acts
1:8 says, “YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER when the
HOLY SPIRIT comes upon you...”

20. CHANGE YOUR MIND TODAY
UNQUALIFIED BUT YOU ARE MADE QUALIFIED
2CORINTHIANS 3:5 NLT2 It is not that we think we are
qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification
comes from God.
John 14:12 "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes
in me will do the same works I have done, and even
greater works, because I am going to be with the
Father.

21. CHANGE YOUR MIND TODAY
GOD IS NOT FAR AWAY, HE LIVES INSIDE YOU
Hebrews 13:5b For God has said, "I will never leave
you; I will never abandon you.“
Romans 8:11 NLT The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus
from the dead, lives in you.
Romans 8:39 NLT …nothing in all creation will ever be
able to separate us from the love of God that is
revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

22. LET US DECLARE
Today, I declare that I have enough power to do the
mission assigned to me by God.
I am qualified because HE qualified me.
I trust the LORD with all my heart, because He has
never broken HIS promise.
HE is with me, HE is in me and HE works through me.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
