• Provide overall supervision of staff and case management of clients at adult DD
workshop and day program. .
• Responsible for budget planning and distribution, program development, and
monitoring the overall well being and progress of program participants.
• Increased revenue by 150% which has reflected in my site showing a profit for the
last 2 years.

developing several onsite walk in services.

2. 2008-2009: Director of “The Recovery Project”
The Recovery Project is an ADAHMS board system wide initiative establishing an
integration of services that empathizes clinical best practices and recovery from severe
and persistent mental health issues in adults.
• Primary responsibilities were to work with adult mental health, DD consumers to
improve their quality of life and involvement within the community.
• Recruited, trained and retained staff and volunteers to work within various
capacities of program.
• Created, implemented and delivered curriculum to mental health consumers,
trained and delivered state created curriculum, created and directed the “Advisory
Council”.
• Created and published a monthly newsletter for mental health consumers and
professional. Instrumental in organizing advocacy projects on a local, state and
federal level.
• Planned and delivered two special events for mental health consumers with in
Lake County.
• Created and implemented an “Anti Stigma” committee and speakers bureau
comprised of mental health consumers. Laid off due to state budget reductions.
2007-2008: ViaQuest Behavioral Health of Ohio: Director of Programming:
Responsible for seven group homes for developmentally disabled and mentally ill adult
and child sex offenders. Responsible for supervision of 56 staff members and staff
training. Responsible for budget and all finances associated with the group homes.
2001-2007: CASA for Kids of Geauga County: Program Supervisor
Supervisor of fifty-five volunteer advocates and case manager of thirty-five child abuse
and neglect cases. Investigate and research abuse and neglect cases. Recruit, train and
supervise volunteer advocates. Develop, implement and deliver training and education
for advocates, staff and social services community. Conducted evaluations and reviews,
created and hosted appreciation events for staff and advocates. Assisted non-profit board
in fund raising events. Laid off due to program losing grant funding.
1999-2001: Geauga County Job and Family Services: Investigative Social Worker.
Investigated child and elder abuse referrals. Created extensive documentation and reports
for prosecutor, court, and other social service agencies. Worked with extremely diverse
client population. Referred clients to services within the community. Interacted
extensively with police and court personnel, mental health professionals, attorneys and
social service agencies.
1995-1999: Chardon Police Department: Patrol officer. Answered calls for service,
responded to emergency situations, conducted misdemeanor and felony investigations.
Extensive testifying in court.

service, responded to emergency situations, conducted investigation, testified in court,
training officer for department.
1990-1993: Ashtabula County Sheriffs Department: Narcotics officer. Worked in
