Medications used for cardiovascular disease (CVS) depend on how it affects the heart and may include multiple drugs. Drugs are divided into four groups: cardiotonic drugs that increase heart contraction force; antihypertensive drugs that lower high blood pressure; antiarrhythmic drugs that regulate abnormal heart rate and rhythm; and antianginal drugs that reduce chest pain and regulate heart function.

heart, are called cardio tonic drugs.

• Disorder in rate and rhythm of cardiac
contraction due to myocardial damage.

11. Anti- anginal drugs
• This is the drug used for pre-cardiac pain,
discomfort of Myocardia , chest pain, etc...
• This drug used to regulate the heart, reduce
