This document summarizes a student project to design kitchen/family room extensions with alternative floor plans. The objectives were to copy an original floor plan, create two alternate designs, and research key building materials. The project involved developing time plans, conducting interviews, modeling designs, researching materials, and gaining experience. In the end, all objectives were achieved and the student reflected on learning time management, technical, research, and site experience skills through the enjoyable project.
