For superior performance through delivery of the highest possible quality of professional
service while serving as the PMW/A-170 and Fleet Readiness Directorate (FRD) lntegrated
Logistic Support (lLS) Cenification manager. Doug provided monthly reviews and modifications
to 120 PMWA-170 and 69 FRD ILS certification packages supporting system installations. He
diligently reviewed SPAWAR PEO lntegrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER) and
Navy Data Environment (NDE)to verify all data was entered properly and in accordance with
applicable instructions. His efforts resulted in praise from the SPAWARSYSCOM ILS Certification
Manager for his technical acumen and meticulous administrative skills.
He developed and maintained an ILS Certification and Caveat Tracker for PMWA-L70 and FRD
that led to the identification of ILS immaturity, which could delay certification for alterations.
The tracker also documents ILS certifications that require a final certification by the end of
availability; allowing for an efficient check-out process from the Regional Maintenance and
Modernization Coordination Office. Doug's attention to detail and outstanding organizational
skills ensured Afloat, Ashore, and Submarine platforms adhered to planned installation
schedules 100 percent of the time; by way of timely ILS Certification submissions. The Assistant
Program Manager for Logistics for PMW /A-L7O and FRD have provided continuous positive
feedback and accolades for the effectiveness and efficiency the tracker provides the programs.
Doug's actions significantly enhanced CSA's reputation of superior performance and were
above and beyond his normal responsibilities in the company.
