This document describes a Raspberry Pi-based system for detecting driver drowsiness and intoxication in real-time. The system uses a camera module to take pictures of the driver's face, and an alcohol sensor to detect breath alcohol levels. Image processing and machine learning algorithms analyze facial features and sensor data to classify the driver's state as alert, drowsy, or intoxicated. When drowsiness or high alcohol levels are detected, the Raspberry Pi triggers audio warnings from a buzzer and speaker. Experimental results showed the system could accurately detect yawning, eye closure, and generate alerts to improve road safety by promptly addressing fatigue and impairment.
