• Top Managerial :levels determines the qualifications and standards which published
to all candidates for the job before 6 months at least to give chance to apply the job
• Promotion: in the formal managerial structure from head of department to higher
level. Recommendation : the promising member of the organization who have good
• qualification and training, considering the size of organization.
• I prefer type one as it give chance to all employees to have interview and evaluation
occurred acc to the same questions in the interview

◦ Patient with cataract ,before surgery physician take the dimensions of lense

the nurse must signs the eye according to the report in patient file and by asking the
patient ,if this communication between doctor and nurse is not present it will affect the
health of patient and customer satisfaction , and repetition of the hospital.

◦ Link between clinics and the pharmacy to request the drugs by recommendation from
the physician ,and the list of available drugs which sent by the pharmacy, if no
communication some drugs are not available which affect the health of patient and
customer satisfaction

5. HOSPITAL MANAGER,DUTIES,QUALIFICATIONS
• ◦ Definition: Carries responsibility for administration of non direct patient care services,also
budgets, policies,programs and administration matters under his general direction.
• Typical duties: Responsible for planning,organizing,directing, controlling all resources of
departments and services of the organization (personal _financial _equipment and supplies)
Administer the organization budgets and participates in planning with assistans and
governmental staff Responsible for developing and directing the implementation of policies
and programs in the resource departments and services of organization Act as advisor to the
medical director in development abd implementation of organization’s programs, policies and
procedures. Promote and maintain effective public relationships with governmental and
community agencies ,Perform other duties assigned.

• Knowledge, abilities and skills
• Knowledge of personal and business administration principles in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of governmental legislation, policies and accounting
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing Education, training and experience
• Completion of post graduate course in hospital administration
• Physical standards
