Jon Voyage informs the students that Dr. Goggins has died, and leads a moment of silence in his honor. Jon's monkey misses Dr. Goggins and is given his helmet to comfort him. Jon tells the students they have arrived on the treasure island. He sets a trap to capture a dinosaur, using Zoey to lure it out. Jon plans to kill the dinosaur and monkey to sell their parts and fund future expeditions, but has a change of heart after seeing their innocence. He decides instead to protect the island's inhabitants.
