Alexander played a lot of football and some basketball with friends growing up in the UK. One friend, Kye Allen, became a professional footballer and they have remained friends. Alexander became interested in basketball at age 12 after watching an NBA finals game. He started playing for his high school team at 14 but did not get along with his teammates. Against his family's wishes, Alexander began skipping school to play competitive basketball in Birmingham instead. This caused him to miss practice and get kicked off his high school team. At age 18, while practicing alone, Alexander was approached by a man who asked him basketball questions and then offered to fly him to Los Angeles for a tryout, starting Alexander's professional basketball career.

1. FRIENDSHIP
Growing up in the
UK ment that ALex-
ander played alot
of football with his
friends and spent ex-
tra time playing bas-
ketball, playing this
much football with
his friends ment he
would of been pretty
good.
However, some friends
turned out very good,
one even became a
proffesional and this
person is named Kye
Allen, this is the per-
son on the left in
the image below. Alex
and Kye still remain
friends today.
Growing up in Eng-
land ment that Alex
played alot of foot-
ball with his friends
like Kye but every
once and a while,
Kye would help Alex
with his basketball
and career of it,
this is one of many
reasons they stayed
friends.
2. Alexander Lanor, Star
athlete out of England,
has has a tougher life
than people would ex-
pect as he has struggled
to get notice over in his
country as basketball
isnt hugely recruited in
the UK. But this amazing
story is about how he
overcame the odds.
UK BASKETBALL
Alex Started watching
Baktball when he was 12
years of age, which is
pretty late since he is 18
yrs old six years later
and he is now a prof-
fesional. he first was
interested when he saw
the Lakers Vs Celtics in
the 2010 finals, this is
the reason he became a
Lakers fan.
At the age of 14 Alex
started playing for his
high school team and
didnt like any of his
teammates as they didnt
play the game properly
and just messed around
during practice, but Alex
was serious about bas-
ketball for a career.
He told his mother he
wanted to play competi-
tive in a city in Birming-
ham nearby as he wanted
to take it serious, but his
mother and brothers didnt
believe in him which made
him not be as close with
his family which is still
true right now. He doesnt
talk to his family much
to this day becasue they
doubted him. This caused
Alex to start skipping
school and sneaking off
to Birmingham to play
basketball.
As he was sneaking off to
Birmingham during school,
he started missing les-
sons which caused him to
start missing practice, as
he needed to catch up on
work. Because he missed so
much practice, he then got
kicked off the team, at the
age of 16 this caused him
to go into a depression.
When he was 18, Alex
was just in the court
practicing his basketball
shot, “ A man was sitting
on the bench watching
me play’ and when he
stopped playing and left
the court, the man ap-
proached him and asked
him alot of basketball
questions, “ and i mean
ALOT. “ he answered them
correctly, he asked if he
could fly him out to Los
Angeles for a tryout. “ I
answered calmy and said
of course, but on the
inside i was screaming
with exitement.” it was a
dream come true.
“And my career is
only just beginning “
