to completion, including 11,000 unique tests including several billing and safety
items (bed, patient class, financial class, discharge disposition, level of care, patient
type) across a dozen systems – sometimes repeatedly – all passing within project
timelines. Also learned Radar on-the-fly to provide a seamless Capacity Management
(CM) Dashboard worth using, including newly designed metrics to capture discharge
delay to improve through-put. Created and integrated a seamless mechanism to
communicate and resolve under-staffed beds within the CM Dashboard. Coordinated
downtime process, including providing means to print labels and wristbands with
unique CSN/MRN on-demand, thereby avoiding the post-downtime re-banding and
patient-merging blues. Successfully managed implementation of Press Ganey and
HAR Advisor, and assisted teammates on projects such as security and
Authorization/Certification dynamic questionnaire-based workflow. Used Outlook
(track/extract)+Excel/XLST (transform)+Access (status report categories)+InfoPath
(time/status report)+autoHotKey (load) to devise a process to reduce administrative
overhead by 90%.
